How to burn anime to dvd? - Click HERE for Original Thread

phatfx
Ok, so I have all these anime cartoons on my computer.
I want to burn them to a DVD-R and be able to watch them on a DVD player. Is there any special program that can do this?

Thanks.

If you have a DVD burner, then you should have received some software with it that will burn computer files to it, so that you can watch them on a DVD player. I think most burners come with Nero software to do the job.

I do have Nero. I just thought that Nero was only for regular CD-R's.

I think you need nero ver 6 or newer, or is it 6.2 or newer to burn DVDs

I have nero 6.3.0.2 . The thing is, is that I need to convert my avi files to some sort of VUB files. Is there any program where I do not need to convert?

In nero you can go through the wizard tell it you want to do a dvd video, it'll allow you to drop in the video files, AVI, Mpeg, etc.. and it should try to convert for you.

Ok, Thanks I'll try it out.

If you wish to not convert AVI and save time.

dish out a bill to buy a DIVX compatable DVD player (such as philips)

then you can just burn a data DVD to watch directly

Anyways I'm using a program called Super DVD Creator 8 and its a drag and drop non conversion program. The problem is, is that I drag in a 150MB episode, but it suddenly changes to 830MB meaning I can only fit like 4 episodes on one disc. Anyone have experience with this program?
