See now if you toss a supercharger on there like that one 240z that there are vids of all over the place, that would be cool. That car is amazing, the three vids are some of the best on the web. One where it is racing and R1, and WINNING! Another he is just cruising along at like 60mph romps on it, and it starts laying a couple patches of rubber and sliding all over. Then the car on the dyno, they show under the hood, the supercharger just a chirpin, then a rear shot when doing the pull, I have never heard a car that sounded so sweet! If anyone has a link to these please put it up!
As for doing that to a 240sx, I wouldn't deface mine. I've wanted to buy a 240 and do an sr20 swap for a couple years, but I've never found that right car/had the money at the same time. I have a connection over in Malaysia for getting a crated front clip in pristine condition.......perfect for a rhd conversion if I chose to do so.....heh. I know it would be a ton of work, but I think swapping firewalls would be the easiest way to go, just cut, then weld, toss some braces on and you're all good.

Nope it's in the states somewhere, but there are 2 in E-town with the same front end. If I could find one in good shape with a strong engine I would take it over my 240sx. I saw one for sale, very very cool car, actually converted into a convertible, fuel injected 350, 350hp, custom roll bar, custom adjsutable suspension, the guy only wanted like 10k. Although with a price like that for a car with all that work, I'm a little apprehensive about what is actually wrong with it.

And that modded drop top model... maybe the guy just wanted a quick sale... I've known few people like that, but that's a few ultra good deals every now and then....
You could always have it inspected by a hotrod shop cause it's a v8 and not stock, right/! |

| yeah, this car was actually in storage in Victoria I believe. From the pictures and specs it would have been a fucking amazing ride! One of the best looking convertibles I've ever seen, and considering they never were a convertible, that's saying alot! |

Do you ahve any pix of that convert.... that'd be something to see.... I remember see a 1st gen rx7 convert for sale outta bc... looked pretty stellar as they didn't come in convert. either...!
Still, the classic Z is the way to go... such great lines, sounding engine, nice interior... and inexpensive compared to some classicz! :D |

Indeed, I just love the lines of the 240z, 260z, and 280z. When it hit the 80's and the 280zx came out, it lost some appeal to me, they just don't look as good. Although the engine is more than welcome to be transplanted back into the older body style! Got's to have boost!
I love the front end on Darius' 240z though, with the custom billet grill, when you see it from the front when he's doing donuts *drools*
I think that I'm going to keep an eye out for a nice 240z as I'm looking for my 240sx, who knows? I could deal with another car that's older than me!
