These days, you'd be hard pressed to find anyone really good at anything, let alone Window Tinting around here, that would impress you.
But I must say, I'm quite pleased with the work and the level of craft weilded by Garage works for tinting my Altima and my Matrix.
I've seen alot of work done throughout the years in the import scene, but this is a first (for me anyways) of someone who removes the windows (but not the rear window for obvious reasons) and gets the tint done right.
I'm a small details kinda guy and Matrixes are notorious for having a difficult rear window, anyone who has seen one upclose will know what I'm talking about. They removed the windows from the rear and the doors, cut the tint and reassembled it very well.
It's been a week for the Altima and a few days on the Trix, no troubles.
While I was waiting for my Car to be tinted, I noticed a CRV in the shop getting 3M taping done. The owner lives out of town and does alot of highway commuting, therefore he'd wished to have just about every surface that gets exposed to rock chips covered in 3M tape.
Hood, the ENTIRE front bumper, the roof above the windsheild, the rocker panels and a patch on the rear bumper.
I was chatting with this gentlman and he was very happy with the results. Going over the work he had done, I must say, I am impressed as well.
Taping an entire front bumper and making it look well is somewhat of an art.
This art is well known and practiced at Garage Works.
This place gets the full thumbs up from me.
Worth the mention? yes,
Worth the reccomendation? hell yeah. |

Thanks for the tip. I've been looking for a place to take my wife's new Altima for tint. If you don't mind my asking what did it cost to do an Altima, and what tint levels did you get? |

david lee at garage works did an impressive job with my car too! the rsx also has a difficult rear window because the top is lined with dots, and the antenna is integrated into the glass.
i highly recommend them. |

I decided on 35%, not too dark, but not too light either. It'd cost you $220 for the back 5 windows (rear window, side rear, and the side quarter windows) |
