Pretty good numbers, what do you have done to it so far.

DomesticDrifter
wow, when you put that thing on juice its really gonna have some kick to it!

Good luck with the project.

Call me silly but it seems low. Over @ Apex I saw a v6 stang with only an exhaust(i think) put down similar numbers, not quite sure of year but I think it was a 96ish,

no thats about right for a tired 302

crazy240sx
not a whole lot done to it so far, just the fender mount intake, longtube headers, and dumptubes, other than that, its pretty stock

i wouldnt mess around with NOS, i would go supercharged, or a single big turbine set-up would be beautifull in the engine bay:eek:

lets see ... 1000 - 1500 bucks for Nitrous

5000 for a non intercooled blower combo

7000 for a HP turbo kit intercooled ..

all of which will be pushing the stock motor ..

hmmm yeah tis a tough decision :dunno:

lol

crazy240sx
lol, yea, the nitrous was the most cost effective and easiest to get by far, i was thinking about supercharging it but it just became too much for what i wanted for this year, over winter i want to build a motor made for nitrous and run that

Its a heavy duty engine I know a fella that puts 125hp shot dry on his for years and he uses it like candy on a weekly basis. Most of you guys think "Ford" but miss the fact they use pretty heavy duty engines the 302 even tired will put out hard for.......ever in the right hands. In his situation he has a 302 HO which is a pretty damn tough engine on of the toughest stock v8's out there. Tried tested and true :) but since most of you dont like "domestics" you will just think its stupid. But think of this......... He can get more hp per $ out of his engine than any of your import cars. There is the fact that there everywhere on every street corner.

I agree tho a supercharger , turbo or ill add twin turbo setup fully intercooled would be damn sweet :)

Nice numbers for that year crazy240sx Im surprised it did so well Im glad Im not lining up with you at bp lol!

Really?........ How long did it take you to figure that out.Putting headers or another power added on a engine with 5 litres of displacement will gain more power than putting a header on a engine with 2 litres of dislacement.

haha I got owned!
