Ok so we pulled the tranney out of my car today to put in a new one. And the mounts that are on the tranney are cracked. I need to know of a place that can weld them for me. They are really werid mounts. But they can be welded heres the pic of the part that broke. I know its a "cheep" fix but i dont have 900 for that part right now.

You will have to find what the tranny and the mount is made from.
Check the phone book, there is TONS of welders out there (they can even come to your house!). |

| don't be ashamed to weld... a good weld bead can make it stronger than before it was cracked... but make sure you find a good welder!! i wouldn't be trusting just anyone to mess with tranny mounts.. |

| depends what type of metal... and yes i would be very careful on who you choose to weld it... All the guys with welding rigs, are usally pipeliners/oil patch welders, they wouldnt be bothered with something so small... and if they did, they wouldnt do a good job... you want someone who is good with TIG welding make it nice and strong... i have access to mig/flux core... if you cant find anyone to weld it, i could take a look at it and see if its possible. |
