1. When I turn on the car all the lights come on and turn off as they please in the dash. It seems like when I hit the brakes it does this too. Originally I swapped the computer from the other car as well, but then I put the original computer back in...?
2. When you touch the brakes it seems like the rears lock and you hear a big bang or knock in the back... It has no sensitivity just if you touch them they lock...?
Anyone know why either of these 2 problems are happening or what I can do to fix them?:mad: |

I'm gonna try taking the ETS fuse out see if that helps. :dunno:
LOL You wouldn't believe the assholes in my neighbourhood. I moved the black car out in alley for 5-10 min to test out brakes in orange car. Keep in mind the black car was not in anyones way and they could get around it. 2 people drove by in that time period just went around it. Cops come to my door 5 minutes later from a complaint... What the hell is peoples problem!!!:mad: |

the first problem might be a burned out fuse for your accessory power. check the fuse box

weird... i had the same problem with my talon today (dash lights randomly blinking).. sanded down all the metal connections on both sides of the ground wire connected to the battery, screwed it back up tight, and its fine now.
but it could also be a problem with your wiring harness... are you using the ecu that came with the engine you swapped in? |

Car is in the shop right now. The break problem fixed itself? :dunno:
When I drove it to the shop their was no problem... The guy said it might have been due to the rust since the rotors had been sitting they had a small amount of rust on them and it becomes a magnet and causes breaks to lock. :dunno:
Dash light not sure yet.
Alex, I still wanna do something for you guys for all your hard work and times you came out. Let me know when/what you wanna do or if not at least let me give you guys some money. :thumbup: |

Well glad to hear the brake problem resolved.
IT WAS WEIRD...... thats for sure!
So all you have left is dash lights. Well thats great.... Hopefully the car runs well for you.
.... hehehe.... I don't need the money Jordan. Think of it as good karma. Do good things.... good things happen.
I kinda like the idea of random acts of kindness. I think of you as just another one of my global vision kids. LOL. Considering we worked in third world conditions.
But some beer and wings at some car meet someday would be ok. :D |
