Stupid Microsoft Internet Security "Features" - Click HERE for Original Thread

Has anyone else run into issues when trying to transfer music (via msn) or unzip a file with music files in it? With one of the service packs for windows xp you get this magnificent security suit that blocks most music files. Is there a way around this? It's driving me up the fucking wall.

For msn i just renamed it to "txt" file and sent it. MSN Messenger has a shit load of extenstions that they banned from being open after transfer.

setup a VPN between the computers using the built-in VPN server and client. it's not fun but it works with simple filesharing just fine.
