Nothing. Just adding more exposure for those who want to sell things, and for those who wish to buy things. This board is awsome for buy/sell and whatnot, but, it is mainly a car enthusiast site. :) My new site is strictly dealing with items for sale, items wanted for purchase, and items for trade or giveaway. So, really, my site is not competition to this one, or any other really. Just an extension to the net for those who want a place for buying and selling, etc.
The reason I created the site was mainly due to the fact that commercial sites mainly had nothing to offer, except ads for free ipods, free dvd players, etc, by selling out your friends to the markets. And the fact I could never find a site that actually contained items for sale other than the enthusiast sites. :) |

| Why wait? :) POST NOW!!!!!! :P Yeah, I'm hoping that it will be somewhat successful, but, for a free site it's not bad I guess. :) I could put up all kinds of bells and whistles, but for what reason? :) |

i agree with icy, the forum headings are too precise...like...group up nintendo ps2 and xbox systems and stuff...atleast for now while the site has fewer people on it...once more and more people join up, then make the topics more precise....for easier navigation

| Well, in order to keep the board free, I had to use a forwarding service. Otherwise, I would have to charge to recoup my costs. :) Besides, http://forsale.dyndns.org is not that hard to remember... Just bookmark it. :) |

| I have taken the suggestions from people who have visited the site, and somewhat downsized it. If anyone else has suggestions, let me know. I really think this new site will work if it gets support from everyone. |

| It works. I just had the site down for 35 minutes doing maintenance on it. I Usually do it at midnight, and it only normally takes 10 minutes, but I had to scan the whole server this time. It's up and running again now. |

I've opened up the forum for commercial retailers if anyone is interested. It's still free and will remain that way, so if you want to advertise there, let me know. :)
Also, I wouldn't mind some more feedback from those on here who visit the site as to what you would like to see on it. I am trying to get an addon now that can create sub forums, so that might make things a little nicer as far as navigation and the actual look of the site. |

ColinSiR - Not sure when they came around, but I'm sure the site is good also. I don't want mine to be locally restricted tho. As the board grows, I will add sub forums and whatnot for other locals. But, if it remains local, then so be it. :)
I'm not in competition with anyone, not intentionaly anyway. I enjoy doing web related things, and I wanted to create a board that would be used. I've already had an offer to move it to a mainframe system at no charge if I want, instead of hosting it on my own server at home. Not sure if I want to do that tho. I like to be involved in the board and not have someone else run it for me. :) |

I think it will get much better as more people start to join as well. Great idea and it'll be a great way to match up local buyers and sellers. Good on ya. |

Aside from a few glitches I have to work out, for the most part the site is fully running. Now if I can find someone who knows APACHE and will help me install it for free... :) |
