what kind of alarm is it? it cant be that hard to install an alarm, unless it requires splicing like 50 different wires for every feature. the only feature you really need is the immobilizer, everything else isnt as important(atleast in my view)
it should come with instructions on how to install it, so if i were to do it on my own, id take the whole weekend(most likely just 1 day or a few hours) and install it on my driveway or something. garage isnt too much of a concern as you dont really need it |

| i decided to get certifed to install it so it is professional done and also comes with lifetime warranty. it is also a starter/alarm the installer said it would take four hours to do |

| don't even bother trying if you cant solder or aren't good with wiring. But if you know how to wire shit, its easy, just takes a while. |

i wouldnt even bother soldering, ill use crimping tools and those little crimp things. might take a little longer to do, but thats only cause i cant solder that well, and it gives me the ability to remove the alarm whenever i want to |

| haha then take it to the shop... I hate using that crimping shit, i used to love them, but then they kept comming off, no matter how good you crimp them....and they look shitty soldering just takes a bit of practive to be good at....seems like you need 3 hands somethings but you get the hang of it |

i crimped plenty of wires before, they hardly ever fall apart or anything(or atleast not yet). although they do look shitty(and i mean very shitty) it leaves room for future thoughts(taking it out or upgrading), but solderiing isprobably faster and more effective anyways |

| soldering is ezay...and i highly reccomend doing that because you dont want a wire coming loose without you knowing and then your car ends up being vulnerable to thieves and you wouldnt even know. |

| and you can heat the solder up afterwards, if you ever need to take the wires apart. |
