Rogers can unlock the phones. Usually costs between $150-$200 b/c they're retarded with their pricing.... but I don't blame them, it usually means they're loosing a customer so why not try to gouge someone working with the competition.
You could try omegacellular as well, they may be able to unlock it.
This is a pretty good price on the phone.... I know what I paid for mine and it wasn't this low, mind you I had mine ordered from overseas and brought into the country a long time ago so I paid a premium! Anyone buying the phone you'll probably be happy, just don't expect to be a world class photographer using this phone's camera!

Yah omegacell will definitely unlock it for you. I had to get mine unlocked a long time ago and they charged $50.
I agree about the camera comment, it sucks... The phone was alright, but its mainly for looks not function. Nothing on it that wasn't on the older v600 or v551 |

GSM phones can't be used on TDMA Telus/Bell networks.... at least to the best of my knowledge. In Alberta the phone if unlocked can work on both Rogers and Fido.
I use mine on Fido, but like pearltsx said it's primarily a fashion phone, it's delicate, and nice looking. Not the greatest for function although I still love it. I got mine July1st is and have almost 200hours of talk time on it.... can't complain. |
