quote: I just read that the NHRA has eliminated the street class for next season?????? What effect would this have on the rules in the IDRC??? A great deal of tracks around here are NHRA aren't they???
IDRC was sanctioning Import Racing years before the NHRA woke up and realized the trend. The NHRA is trying to compete with IDRC and can't, because alot of the big-time racers are realizing that IDRC is where it is at.
Bud Park used to be NHRA sanctioned, but switched to IHRA sanctioning, now we have a major "Nationals" event coming to Edmonton for the next 5 years. NHRA is turning into a dinosaur. |

| I thought the IHRA was an offshoot of the NHRA? something that the NHRA put together that would cater to the growing import scene. |
