Why: This meet will mark the end of the season and to cap off another good year. It will be a good opportunity for our guests and current members to meet each other. We will also be discussing the current situation of the club and determine our path forward.

Sketchy, how so? Do you mean your worried about leaving your car parked outside? I haven't had any problems and I've been there many many times...
I think this restaurant is a good location, has great food and service. It will still take me a better part of 45 minutes to drive there... |

BTW, you don't have to drive your lude to the meet, just come. Drive your beater or get dropped off by your mom, just get there some way...

| I'm free friday and saturday, but friday would be better. I'll be going to the football game on saturday and I might be getting a little drunk. but if the meet is saturday I won't drink myself stupid and I will come to the meet. 7pm would also be best cause the game starts at 2pm. and after the game I have to go home shower and change. Friday I'm free all day |

somewhat im glad, but also regret not buying your old prelude with front end problems... didnt seem too hard to fix, but it wasnt really drivable for too much longer without those repairs...
maybe i can find a 4th gen for about $4k-5k during winter... itll be my winter beater when i get it |

So, I sent out a group email to pretty much every member and guest that I could think of. I didn't receive any replys nor I have I seen anyone else post in this thread. So, I'm guessing all who have posted are the ones that will be attending.

we had about 15 people out.
good food, and we had a discussion on a few things :)
personally i think we need more social events (pool hall/bar/peelers/etc) during the winter to keep our spirits up.
if anyone wants to do something let everyone know and start a thread :thumbup:
afterwards a few of us went to shanks for some pool/drinks which was fun .
overall it was a very successful meet, and i hope we can continue to go strong :D

I'd like to thank everyone who made the committment to come out to the end of season meet. From the people whom did attend, I think the census was to keep the club going.
It was a good night, good food and good conversation. I think we definitely need to do this way more often...
I beleive our discussions brought some good points to the table and I hope that we as a club can work these out going into 2006.
For those of you that couldn't make it, forgot or had better things to do, this is a brief summary from our discussions:
- keep the club going
- keep the $10 membership / renewal fee
- keep the membership cards
- more club promotion, wether it be advertizing or business cards (BTW, mike3 has the business cards)
- limit club spending
- Darcy to attend more weekly meets (if work permits)
- more social get togethers
- a monthly meet rather than weekly
- have our very own track day (or possibly team up with another club)
Some of things that will stay the same going into 2006 will be full representation at all major and local sport compact events, wether it be a full blown car show or a local show & shine. The continuation of our weekly cruise night and track night but we need to see more dedication and comittment from our members for this to be successful, and that goes for myself as well.
I think that about sums it up. In conclusion, like I've said in the past, the EPC will only see success from the contributions form it's members. So, if we don't see more committment, dedication and support from our very own members going into 2006, our club will surely fail... |

| there was no talk about scrapping the weekly meet for a monthly and maybe being a little more socail with the other 780 guys and that attend the weekly meets at united cycle...maybe then the club wouldn't be gettin the stereo type of hard to approach or somthin along those lines. i can't speak for the everyone i nthe club but my interest in tuner cars goes alot further then just preludes and h22's |

I'm still think about having a monthly meet rather than a weekly meet. I think it would be more productive to disccuss high level club matters as well as something to look forward to. I'm not saying that a weekly meet couldn't co-exist.
As for the whole be more social with the 780tuner peeps at UC, to be honest I couldn't care less if I ever go to another one those meets. I'd rather see us do our own thing in stead of us cruising there just to hangout out and be all anti-social...
