i understand why some of you are so pissed at some of the people doing donuts and burntouts etc. but you talk on here about it not once has anyone gone up to them and said anything to them face to face. i find that alittle bit cowardly. and like any of you guys have Never shown off and done stuipd shit with your cars. there may be a time and place for everything but everybody knows that if you think or know you have a hot ride your going to show off and show what you can do with it. anyways thats just my point of view.

So what's your point?

Now, I've never been to these meets, and the fools I hear about are part of the reason, but I'm pretty sure anyone confronting the showoffs would be met with anything but civility.

I would have to agree. And i go to the meets regularily.

I'm sure if someone went over and told them to stop fooling around, or leave, they wouldn't be taken too seriously.

What we need is either contact information for nearby police units, or more frequend drop-in visits by the police. I see a cruiser at UC once in a while, but at least a few times a night would be nice.

Yeah, i dunno, i wouldnt burn doughnuts and do burnouts, cause i love my car too much, usally the guys doing that shit have pieces of shit it seems... I have worked too hard to bag my baby. What we need is a high powered assualt rifle.. Damn should have bought that AK-47 that was for sale on white ave a few years ago..

i found that those guys who are fucking around inappropriately, leave before anyone would be able to say anything. I think that's why the posting is on here, so that these guys can read about themselves and realize that what they are doing is wrong, and hopefully to make an example that many people in this community feel that way. Those guys are probably not mature enough to realize that what they are doing is not as cool as it may have seemed to be at the time. I mean, showing-off is a waste of time if the audience is not appreciative of what is being displayed, just like you don't go to muscle-car clubs and expect them to be impressed by a set of LED muffler tips on an SRT4.

I would also hope that noobs to 780tuners will read this and then become somewhat smarter than the people that are getting the attention in this thread and the other one.

my point is.. lighten up. dont be so uptight. :drama:

I have told quite a few people not to do stupid shit at UC.

If you don't like it, don't come out to the meets, simple as that. Is it really that hard to not litter and do burnouts for a couple of hours while hanging out there? How about drinking and driving?

We are trying to keep these meets civilized, so once again, if you don't like it, don't come out.
