If a cop writes u a ticket (any kind, but speeding in my case) they put all the correct information for court date, but on the date of offense, she didn't add the year...it just says October 9, 20__
Is this ticket still valid or can it get thrown out due to a technicality so to speak? |

| that is DEFINATLY cause for having it thrown out... anything that causes doubt as to who was charged and when it happened is reasonable doubt for it being thrown out.. just go in they should rip it up for you |

:D good to hear.
The cop had no sympathy last night. I was rushing to pick up a friend from the bar...someone told me it was an emergency so i was doing 30 over (3AM...Not a single car on the road except for the cop, go figure)...oh well i guess speeding is speeding, regardless of the cause. But man she was mean. |

| The cop spelt my name wrong on a ticket (Put an E instead of an A for one part of my last name) and I went to the justice of the peace and he voided it. You arn't going to lose anything by not trying that, but you potentially have a lot to gain ;) |
