Exhaust - Click HERE for Original Thread

SilviaDrifter
so ive decided im goign with the corksport exhaust (thanx to rahul buying the used RB one i was goign to get ahahaha) but i was wondering.....does teh corksport only come in single...and where wud it connect to if your exhaust looks like this

now
you will have to do some cutting and welding.
I have an exhaust its off the car ready to sell
it goes from the manifold to the rear, has nice ss tips
and the mufflers are flow pro or flow master i cant remember now.
with all hangers etc to fit it on easily
matt

I recommend that you get a full turbo-back exhaust. The old hollow cat is still bolted to the compressor.

thats what i was planning to do

REFLUX
If I remember correctly, the Corksport exhaust is actually a single outlet.

With that said, the Corksport exhaust is essentially a no bullshit type of exhaust.
It's main function is essentially to be light & flow a lot of gas.
Sound & aesthetics aren't its top priority.

Now if I remember correctly Fadi, didn't you say you wanted to only use top quality stuff?
Not saying the Corksport exhaust isn't good but it certainly doesn't have the same reputation as Racing Beat & various other JDM products.

Are you going to stray from your path or are you going to make an exception on the exhaust? ;)

SilviaDrifter
hahah fooook u terry
i still might go with fujitsubo
but the corksport is a nice exhaust that weighs 40lbs less tahn stock.......

Transporter
fadi don't try to be like Jones "Terry" brand naming is only so good on quality

save some cash get cork sport so u can have money to paint that beast

honestly no will know the difference if u tell them u have corsport or fujitobso or aoother japanese brand people don't know those names but u have shiny tips:bowdown: that all they see u have one shiny tip man ur car must be powerful:lol:

for eg. i have ohlins suspension most peopl don't know what those are

if you say u have tein or knoi and it is instantly recognized

ps i did not forget about ur pics just looking for my tarnsfer cord

SilviaDrifter
haah its all good
i think i am going with the corksport
i will probably order tomorow
the full turbo back exhaust

but hey rahul today at 5 at apex modified right????

and rahul or terry do u guy know the power gains of a corksport exhaust....its over 3 inches all the way down

Z3r0
fujitsubo *hint hint* lol. I have their legalis R system, and it was crazy expensive =(. Great quality though.

SilviaDrifter
i went on there site and it didnt show an application for the LR system on a FC......is it a full turbo back or jus cat back

REFLUX
The Corksport is a good exhaust, I actually would've bought it if it wasn't so loud :p

Don't forget about boost creep Fadi.
Port the wastegate on your turbo before installing the exhaust.
Make the hole as big as possible without going into the walls of the housing & weld on a new flapper by using a valve from a piston motor.

Rahul:
I don't buy for bling ;)

Z3r0
its just the catback, i have it mated with a RB presilencer and DP ^_^.

Yeah, you might wanna consider problems with boost creep, but I see you have a s5 (I think?) so the turbo should have 2 wastegate ports so its not as serious of a problem as the s4's.

Oh yeah here are some pics of my catback: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/491227/2
>Look at the welds!!! ^_^

SilviaDrifter
thanks matt
i PM'd him

REFLUX
S5s should still have boost creep issues.

PraxGTI
The S5 definitlty still gets boost creep.

SilviaDrifter
thats what i was thinking as well

Transporter
i don't

SilviaDrifter
haha.....rahul what numbers did end up putting down yesterday.....
