Check this fight out.

It's Kimbo. A notorious thug street fighter. I guess he's a street fighting legend.

Look at the guy's eye afterwards.

Gross.

I've seen this before and it's sickening. Kimbo eventually fights a well rounded fighter in Gannon and gets his ass kicked. I think Kimbo wanted to practice MMA but he hasn't debuted yet. Somebody find the Gannon fight, Kimbo's cardio is brutal.

I'll post a www.yousendit.com link of the Gannon fight so ppl can download tonight.

These are the people we give our 15minutes to? Hmmm, who could be more worthwhile than idolizing lump and log as they beat each other to a pulp for no reason? No wonder kids are such idiots.

bluSRT
For no reason? Kimbo makes between 3 and 10 G's per fight, I say thats reason enough. Theres lots of televised sports that guys beat each other up, but because they are professionals that makes it ok?

Just because they fight doesn't mean that they're idiots. A lot of people probably look at car enthusiasts and say they're "idiots" for racing their cars at the track and investing money into their vehicles; and i'll bet they say there's "no reason" for any of that too, in their minds.

Don't be so judgemental, if you don't like fighting, then just don't fuckin watch it. Easy as that.

i have found this recent upcoming ufc scene pretty interesting, but i'm still waiting for someone to be killed in a incident like that, kind of underground but well known. i'm sure they both had some pretty good injuries and it didnt look good for either, but like bluesrt said kimbo stood to make a good amount of money out of these fights, oh the things we'll do for money.

Boxing is just modern Gladiators who don't kill one another. Not a big fan of that either. Anyway, if they aren't idiots yet, a few more years of blows to the head and they will be. Racing isn't beating the hell out of your body. And since when did making money at something make it a good idea? One of the guys I grew up with had a stroke when he was clocked once outside Pipers pub. He recovered but it took a while for his face to get back to normal.

Just my opinion. I would be as against my kids doing this as crack. It's just a matter of time until there's permanent damage done. If you're lucky.

So many of you call the guys who get into bar fights, then kill someone 'by accident', idiots as well. But when there are spectators they're heros.

Anyway, no need to get in an argument over it. It's just what I think of all this street fighting hype. Personal opinions. They're like assholes, remember.

No worries Im not arguing with you, its just a difference of opinions.

People have died in boxing matches, in fact there was a guy a little while ago that died. These guys arent trying to literally kill each other.
I wasnt really referring to racing as guys beating on the body (even though guys bump each other and can send someone into the wall, and guys have died). But look at boxing, any martial arts, UFC, wrestling, etc etc, they all try to beat the opponent up either by knockout or submission and get paid to do it. Hockey has fights and constant body contact, football is brutal on the body.

I bet that in almost every sport someone has died, its happens sometimes more often in some sports than others, but it does happen. I believe one guy has died in UFC since it started, there have been more deaths in other sports that are not half as brutual.

In reference to your childhood bud, that really sucks , but things like that can happen anywhere and not just by fighting. Look at that young girl (I believe it was) that was hit with a puck at a hockey game and died.

As for bar fights I dont enjoy them and I think they are childish, thats why I go to pubs. :)

Im not saying I would encourage my kids to go out and do this, but if these guys are good at it and they enjoy it I wouldnt say they are idiots. I bet a lot of people on here (including you, maybe) enjoy doing things to their cars (make them faster, better handling etc) and race at the track. Now if someone was to crash at the track and die, would you consider him an idiot too? I mean really he/she is risking their life to prove how fast their car is.

Of course not, but I bet they enjoy it and are (possibly) good at it, the same goes for guys like Kimbo.

Insomniac
Gannon faught in the UFC last Saturday and got beaten to a bloody pulp by a C-level fighter.

That just shows the difference between true UFC professionals and guys on the street that think they're tough. Such a large gap and people don't realize it.
