I bought some tires for my car. Went to a bunch of shops and got prices for a set of Michelin X-Ice, 205/60R15 mounted and balaced, with tax, and including the michelin factory rebate. Results were as follows:
Canadian Tire: $677
Kal Tire: $657
Fastech: $611
Costco: $584
I went with Costco (the cheapest) and had no problems, other than wait to talk to a real person (they are severly understaffed). Costco is first come, first served, so be aware of that too. |

Why did you go with the X-Ices?
Haven't heard anything about them so it'd be good to know :) |

| We did some tire testing at work last year and they outperformed 2 pairs of blizzaks, studded motomasters, and a set of Nokians. |

Costco is good for tires. I bought a set of Michelin X-Ice and a set of Michelin Crossterrain tires this week.
But yeah, the wait time is a PITA. |

Wow really?
Outperformed blizzaks AND Nokians....
Just because I'm running a set of Nokians, do you remember what model of nokian?
Cuz I know there are something like 3 or 4 different winter models for cars.
But Costco for sure has great pricing :) |
