Hey All
Lol you guys might remember a few months back I was asking about a shell car because the car I had wouldn't pass salvage inspection :mad: ... Well I picked up an 88 DX shell (~100 pounds lighter than the Si model) and did the engine swap so there is about 240000 kms on the chassis but 167000kms on the new engine. ( I trashed the old body after stripping it for parts.) The DX shell has no rust, but alas no sunroof or back wiper. The engine runs strong, always starts for me- i did rewire the ECU and put on the Si PGMFI as well so no more of that shitty Dual point (glorified carb) BS. the car is silver, 5 speed, it has BOMZ cold air intake from the states... a blue fiberglass 5" APEX muffler. Umm.. honda rims with good tread, brand new windshield (2 weeks old.) It has an alpine CD player, as well as the SI door panels and the SI seats. I also replaced the two axles when i did the engine swap. The side windows are tinted, as well as the back window. I have extra seats, extra glass, extra interior parts, blah blah blah. Moral of the story is: I want $3500 obo for it- and the buyer also has the choice of all the spare parts if desired. If you're interested give me a call at 983-2758. are you able to swap all the si parts onto the dx to make it an si?
(meaning, power stuff as well as sunroof).
