What is the best station to use for an FM transmitter? I just picked one up and need to know of people's experiences with what works the best in Edmonton. Right now I think so far in the South end of the city, the best station that I have been using for my iRiver is 88.1. Any better ones out there that I should try?
Let me know!

I use 88.1
But I think if you can boost the antenna on your radio........ you will pick up a cleaner signal.
We have to many stations low in the frequencies...

i think the top end of the dial is a little less noisy(rf noise, not stupid stations). what kind of antenna does that come with? is the unit fully frequency-agile, or do you have to choose specific "channels"?
I think in my memory's vaugeness that there is actually a "low power transmitter " band" at the top end... but i might be not entirely correct :P |

The model of tuner is a iRiver AFT-100 which transmit the full FM spectrum. The reviews are really good for the transmitter so, it is just a matter of finding the best station. I'm not sure of the antenna that it comes with. |
