Vac pressure gauge - Click HERE for Original Thread

i was installing my vac pressure gauge and everything was going good until i accidentally krimped the nylon tubing and had to cut it short, now i don't have enough line to get from my vac line to my gauge pod on my pilar. does anyone know where i can get some more tubing and how to join the two peices together tight enough that there won't be any vac leaks?

I went into Mopac when my valve cover breather tube cracked and they just cut me a 12" length of vacuum tube. Not sure they normally stock it though.

why would you install just a vac gauge?

Mustard
vac gauges can tell you some good things about your Intake some times.... if you put it in the right place and it bounces you could have bad valves...

otherwise yeah, a vac gauge on it's own is kinda dumb... boost/vac gauges are obviously more useful for turbo folk.

well, i know its kinda stupid cuz im not boosted yet, but like mustard said, i use it for shit like valve rattle, but for now its in anticipation for when i am boosted :fingersx:
