That quick lightning storm last night was definitely weird. Perhaps it has something to do with 2005 possibly becoming the hottest year on record worldwide.

rain on snow is very hard to shovel :P
i saw a lightening strike while i was driving west on yellowhead lastnight, by 66 st and it hit a cellphone tower, like right in front of me, in my line of vision. it was awesone, i can still see the details of the bolt going between the antennas and spiralling around the lightening rod, before finally being absorbed by the structure.

weirdest part? there was no boom, and i was only a few hundred yards away with the stereo off.
