if a person park in a place that is illegal to park, and it blocks all the in/on coming traffic, as a tiny citizen, what can I do?
can I take pictures or video as proof then send it to cops and let them make charges ? |

Pictures or video proof won't help you. They must catch the person in the act so to speak. Best thing to do is call the complaint line or a tow truck company and hope they send a car/tow truck before the offender returns. |

Hey man. I would suggest ignoring the vehicle unless it's promoting the possibility of an accident or is in the way of you trying to drive your vehicle somewhere. If it's a major problem and you think that something should be done, he defintely won't get charged, but you can call the non-emergency police line or the towing company and they can take care of it. If you take a picture or send in a video, they'll prolly use it as kindling in somebody's fireplace...definite waste of time. |

Back on topic, Is the offending car parked in a fire lane? If he is bylaw will do something about it or a tow truck has athority to tow it. If he isn't bylaw really won't give a fuck. (Has to be VISIBLY posted as a firelane on No Parking)
Had the same problem in my parking lot about a year ago. People parking everywere. Couldn't do a thing because the No Parking signs were not up yet in certain areas. Made it very difficult for some residents to get in/out of there parking stalls. |
