i have an engine 94 1.5L Dx from a civic that came with a clutch and pressure plate. it was bolted to a hydraulic tranny, will that clutch work in my 89 1.5L dx cable tranny? or will i have to get a clutch and pressure plate for a 89 1.5L cable tranny?

88-91 Civics use different Clutch assemblies than the 92+ Civics. So to answer your question, no it will not work. You need to get a clutch from a 88-91 Civic.
