good bang for your buck and a true "economy car" equivalent to sunfires and cavaliers now but just like any other geo vehicle limited sales and therefore i imagine hard to find for parts but if the price is right and it's in decent shape I say grab it... good for your everyday vehicle

they aren't to hard to find. My dad has owned one since new and it now has 550000Kms on it. That is no typo, but its also on its second engine. hehehe. My bro also owns one is has a sticker on the back the says: Mclaren F2. so gay he laughs every time he looks at it. I dont think they are that hard to find parts for at junkyards. If you need some info just pm or something.

Oh i see...
So not very many of them were sold at all?

I've 'seen' that these things are powered by toyota motors... 4ag's...

So I figured since it was a 'domestic' make,... I thought there would be a lot of geo's around...

Thanks for the info...
If I maybe get one, I'll know a few guys with experience with these things.

They were never sold in Canada, so finding one even on the road is almost impossible. I have seen a Prizm owner at work looking for body parts. I explained to him, he'll have to resort to looking stateside. The 4AGE powered cars will be even more rare.

Ummm.....

I believe all of the later years (~ 94) were all powered by corolla engines. It may be so for 90-92 too, i'm not sure. I was looking into this myself. From what i recall, they're basically identical to corolla's - same engine, drivetrain, everything. The body and interior are a little different. So, being the same as corolla, parts (engine) should be VERY easy to come across... body parts, however, will be a bitch, because prizm's aren't very popular.
