| That's why full driving tests, medicals, and eye exams should be mandatory for drivers over 70 |

I say mandatory tests every 5 or 6 years.
That way, noone feels like they are being singled out.
Seniors make up a large percentage of drivers/voters right there, so no politician in their right mind would even attempt somthing like this.
So more and more preventable deaths will happen. Sounds stupid huh?. |

THats just brutal, u hear old people talk like they are good drivers they are
1) too cautious and cause accidents from slow and awful decisions, maybe when they made it 2 minutres earlier it was smart but when they do it, No
2) No idea of whats around them or worse they are scared of what is around them
my grandparents dont drive in downtown anymore for exact reason they know there drivin skills suffer. They drive in the boonies but otherwise they dont bother. |

Who cares if they feel that they are being singled out. There old and they shouldn't be on the road anymore. I cannot express the feelings I get when I am stuck behind some 80 year old man going 40 in a 60 zone, or that takes a year to make a left turn. |

I find the worste drivers are 40+ year old men. I have daily scenarios of them sometimes the same ones , signal right turn left , no shoulder checking , no signals , driving like the indy 500 , flipping the bird , swirving , phantom braking , losing controll , going wrong way down one ways and faaaast ect ect....... This city is full of them omg!
Manditory for all of us would be fine by me Id feel safer and for us with no problem reading the signs and obeying the rules of the road what do we have to fear of re examinations? |
