Was in Dubai 2 years ago to visit my bro and am going to be there again there again in a couple of months.
Was only there for a week and saw a stranded F40 on the highway, countless Diablos and 360's and Porsche Turbos like they were going out of style.

Yup, I live in Edm. I was just saying I have been to Dubai before 2 years ago to visit my brother and gonna be there again in a couple of months. Why be in Edm in December with -30C when I can be in Dubai with +25C.
And of course, the cars, the food, just everything....amazing.
That's not me btw, I just caught that thread in the S2K forum and thought I'd post it. |

There preparing to be out of oil in 10 years. i was there last year at this time and the building is out of control. Someone told me they are building an indoor ski hill, big enough to hold the winter olimpics. sounds farfeched, but i would not put it past them. I saw the begining stages, its big. |

The indoor ski hill is in Mall of the Emerates (a play off of Mall of America) Indoor skiing is common place in Japan, Just like with driving ranges here. Remember when WEM opened the Water park? That was pretty out landish for the 80's. Japan also has indoor batting "parks"
The sad thing is, there ar plenty of guys in at Fort Mac that can afford $100,000 cars, but all you see up there are Escalades and Hummers with 26" rims. :rolleyes: |
