| Neither man... we shouldn't need radar! We should have better driving schools that teach people HOW to drive, versus just handing out points and licenses! Soon a license will be able to be bought at a 7-11! |

| I agree with redbaron but if I were to get caught, I'd prefer it to be photo for obvious reasons. |

| Personally.. I would rather get caught by a manned radar stop.. 2 reasons.. my radar detector works vs them.. and B, personally I think if someone is going to make me pay for speeding they should be a man and actually give it to me instead of being a pussy and hiding in a van... |

of the two, i would choose photo because there are no demerits and if you pay any attention to the side of the road, its a lot easier to dodge.

yeah, had that done a few times
lol, my friend and his gf rode past on a motorbike and she flashed the guy as she flipped him off.... that got a lotta pics taken, but they were also doing about 90.
good thing his gf was covering the plate ;) :bigthumbup: |

So radar detectors dont pick up photo radar vehicles?
I thought they would, considering they get your speed via radar. |

Okay.. thats what I was thinking....
I realise if you are the only car on the road, a radar detector wont help you, because they will be aiming it at you.
But mid day, in moderate traffic, the singal is gonna bounce. |

I'm okay with getting tickets (it is my fault for speeding, so i'll take my lumps)
but photo is just a cash cow....if it were there to slow people down and save lives it would be in the school zone in my neighboor hood not on the whitemud.
+60 in a school zone is a bigger problem than 100 on the whitemud.
If their was one way to sum up my feelings on EPS it would be; the irony that they care more about making $80 from a ticket on the whitemud than saving some kids life... :angry: Which is exactly the attitude they show everytime they park that stupid van on the whitemud. |
