Hi guys, I just moved up here from Saint John, New Brunswick and I thought I would introduce myself and say Hi. :)
Anyways, my name is Jamie, I am 24 and I drive a Silver 99 Civic Hatch with a JDM D15B VTEC Swap. I know a lot of people out here have B-series swaps, but my plan is to fully build and Turbo my SOHC. You can check out my car in the Photo section. :) |

Well there are 2 usuall choices when choosing a JDM D-series motor. The first one, which I have is the JDM D15B VTEC. This is a simular motor to the USDM D16Z6 (92-95 Civic Si) But has a different R/S Ratio and has 1.5L of displacement instead of the D16Z6 1.6L. This motor comes stock with 130 HP.
The other more rare JDM SOHC Motor is the SOHC ZC VTEC. This is not the same as the JDM DOHC Non-Vtec, it is moreless the same as the D16Z6, but with more HP. It comes Stock with 140 HP.
I hope all that isnt too confusing :P |
