| I have no idea... but my computer seems to run slower when Kazaa is open versus when it is not! I've heard that kazaa runs more memory than did napster or most other programs...? |

Your participation level is basically your UP/DL ratio. If you leave it on all the time, more people download stuff from you, your level goes up. I was at 1000 (Supreme Being) for a long time. :)

supreme being?! haha cool. yea i went from low to guru in one night. everyone downloading Enterprise - Cease Fire (MPG) version off me :P 423 mb.
I tend not to run kazaa if im using big apps (Photoshop, flash.. games :P) |

Participation level increases your queue level when waiting in line to dl something.
There are programs to cheat it and put you at supreme indefinately. |
