well i havent been able to sell the van or the fairlady, so im putting my winter beater up for sale. low on cash flow so im hoping for a quick sale. heres some details
1986 Toyota Corolla
*279 kms
*few shades of silver with rust
*4 door
*4 cyl
*5 SPD
* Front end redone a few months back (new clutch, cv joints, brakes, tie rod ends, etc.)
*Runs good
This would be an excellent winter car, its not the greatest looking but the price is right and its solid. The car needs an alternator but there real cheap at a wrecker and i might even have one laying around. i dont have pics but pm me and ill gladly show the car anytime on Sunday or Monday. asking $775 but offers considered. |

| took it out on the highway today and found out fifth gear likes to come out. it stays in with even the slightest bit of pressure (hold it up). i talked to my buddy that i got the car off of, and he says its just a small part and itll do this on and off. transmission should still be good im sure its not the synchro. still drives well though. im taking 300 bucks off the price to account for possibly a new tranny or just the minor inconvenience it is to drive it on the highway. first $475 takes it!!!!!!! contact me with questions. |

i havent driven the car for long enough to know exactly how much it needs, most of the info is from a friend who has owned the car for 6 months or so. it was daily driven for most of it. it has some sort of a deck or tape player but theres no faceplate :lol: i dont think this car will need much to be a daily winter car. heres some things it will need off the top of my head.... alternator, side mirror, tune up, headlights and dash stopped lighting up as of a few days ago which im sure is just a fuse.
I NEED THIS CAR GONE!!

why does everyone think this car is perfect??? buyer backed out because the alternator is toast?!?!?! still for sale... its a 195 dollar car people.......well now $180, ill take 15 bucks off to go to a pick ur part and grab an alternator.
also i think the days of the car being a daily driver are toast... needs alot of small things i think, good for getting around while the cars in the shop or for parts maybe. these are the things i think it needs. full tune up, alternator, some fuses, and starter. |
