Well, here they are: Unnoficial times for our member's only autocross. (I was pretty quick posting the times, eh?)
I was kind of surprised with the total number of runs (too low) and the crash on the laptop might have erased some times, others were wrong because of the timing lights (...) so these are the useable ones. Any complains, please fill form 45WX2323-455 and mail them...
I don't know about you guys, but I had lots of fun (even without snow) and enjoyed the whole day...
Anyway, here they are:
Winter Series #1
I would like to thank all that volunteered this time, especially Kyle for doing timing ALL DAY LONG (you guys should thank him and get him a nice Christmas gift), Rahul for preparing us a nice barbecue (don't get him any gifts, he got to drive the PORSCHE already...), Thomas for doing all registration at the gate (by himself) and everybody else that provided time and effort to make this event happen.
Thanks,

| Fernando, I am impressed with your times. Who needs a Porsche anyways? |

Wow
Fernando that was fast posting of the results. Thanks for the day, to you and to all the other volunteers.
:dunno: Who needs a Porsche anyway
Well consider that in one run in the Boxster Conroy got a 1 min09.62, within 3 sec of his times in the red beast, which he knows much better. Think what he would have done in a second run!
:D Personally, I think we all need Porsches:beer: |

Well, thanks! :D
Have hitched a ride with both Porsche and "Red Beast" I must say that I am impressed with both!
Conroy's car is probably the fastest and more powerful car I've ever "experienced"... he is an awesome driver and the car has too much power for the available traction. Videos to come.
Jed's porsche is a more well rounded and balanced car, with a reasonable amount of power and incredible grip... (I want one, of course) but it could make more noise, transmit more to the driver (and passenger for that matter).
My car, on the other hand, doesn't have the power or the grip, but AWD sure gives me the confidence to keep my foot on the gas for longer!!!

Conroy, isn't that car also set up for drag racing?
I am very impressed as to what that car pulled off.
P.S. I played some video and my mom said that car looked fast, and she doesn't know anything about cars. She also said that she will never drive with me or "those people you hang out with" again. |

| no the car is primarily set up for road racing. it is really quite a bad set up for drag. |

Man, Conroy's video is very funny! You can't see the track but his face tells everything you need to know! :-)
Stupid camera has the videos in MJPG and I can't edit them!!! Will work on that tomorrow. (we have a meeting tonight)
