| 92 Honda Prelude for sale. Im the second owner of this car and have all paper work for maintenance and repairs from new. This was originally my aunts car untill last year when she finally sold it to me. The car has 225 k , new paint (white in color), fully loaded, cd player, stock rims, etc. The car has a JDM H22a Engine that was purchased from japanese domestic motors. This is a 2.2l VTEC engine with 200 hp stock, I was told this is one of the best engines for this vintage of prelude. The engine has between 50-80 k on it, came with the stock trans, ecm and jdm wiring harness. very fast, reliable and still gets 700k to a tank! I was told by japanese domestic motors that they have a customer with this engine turbocharged running 350HP to the wheels with stock internals!!! This car is very clean, no rust, and stock exterior. Im also selling the stock engine from this car. Its a 2.3l dohc H23, 160 hp, I have paper work from computerized engine showing 5000.00 in recent work done to this engine. This thing runs like new!! I was told the H22A is a better platform for a high performance build up but I ran out of time and facilities to do the work. This engine burns no oil , is smooth and quiet. Comes with the stock trans and clutch ( no grinding, smooth shifting 100%), Stock header, 95% complete wiring harness, ecm , alt, p str. etc. Ready for a swap into another honda, many extra parts . I was thinking around 2k but make me an offer, im moving so it would be nice to give it a new home. The throttle position sensor was damaged so it will need a new one but other wise it's mint. I have a new timing belt and tensioner set for it. All the stock h23 exhaust and the H22a header are included, many extra parts for a swap like motor mounts and trans shift cables, ecm . | Not trying to bash, just help. The 2.3l engines can be hard to sell, since everyone wants the h22. I've seen them sell anywhere from $500-$1300. I realize you have put monry into the engine, its just not popular. |

| Thanks captain obvious but you should realise that Im not trying to sell this engine to you. Im looking to sell it to some one that doesn't want some ones "miled out" swap junker. I know im asking on the higher end of the scale but this engine is worth every penny. Have you ever heard you get what u pay for, If you buy an engine worth 500.00 that how it will run. My engine doesnt leak a drop of oil, doesn't burn a drop of oil and has like new compression. I will also give a warranty that if the buyer isn't completely happy with this engine even in six months I'll take it back for a full refund. Show me one engine for 500.00 that will give you more than an 30 feet 30 second warranty. I also said i was flexable on the price so thanks for your very informative advise masta, ur so wise! |

i'll buy your engine off you right now if you give me a 6 month warranty ... Do you think anyone is going to jump on the warranty from some guy thats moving out of town?. anyways on the other side, thats one clean lude! Its nice not to see rust on them! and its nice to see a brand new looking engine bay! Someone buy this car, you won't fins a nicer or cleaner lude for the money! |

| There was no rust when i puchased it and there is no rust now. I know these cars are prone to rusting around the upper rear fender well but there is non. This car was professionally painted by reflections autobody is Edmonton, I would have to check the bill but I think my aunt payed around 5k for the paint. I think this was too high but she didn't know any better at the time. As far as 350 hp. To have a custom turbo kit built through JDM in calgary I was quoted 4K . It will vary from there as far as what intercooler, intake, engine management and what level of boost you want to risk running. Let me know I have had a few people come look at it but no one seems to be serious or at least have the cash. Thanks shawn. |
