| Almost |
Thanks to the snow ruts and a chunk of mud last night my exhaust has been cut into two convienent to carry pieces.
The Zoodle can I crimped around the pipe is sort of holding, but I'm thinking this isn't a real permanent solution.
Anybody know a good shop in Edmonton that does custom exhaust work with MANDREL bends?

I'm doing a mad search right now, either a Greddy MX Exhaust system or a custom one, but I can't find a shop that does mandrel bends....
I'd like to get this done by the weekend before the end of reading week...
until then I sound like an F-14 |

I'm waiting on a quote from Zippy's right now,
I know Midas Guy can do Mandrel Elbows, but I need a whole system, although his new location almost makes up for it....
So far Greddy MX is about $750.00 from redlineautosports.com |

| I'm not sure about this one but i know my buddy had an exhaust system built for his integra by ABC Muffler. I don't know if they can do mandrel bending but they may just be able to, give them a try. |

first off nobody in this city can do custom mandrel bends, only elbow by elbow but how about this ---Do you produce enuf horsepower to require mandrel bends proply not! What I can a like to do is take that wasted cash on mandrel bends and spend way less on true custom to "your" needs stainless steel (t-409) nice stuff very thick pipe and durable if you want a good product that will last longer than that stuff and cost less than anybody in this city call me

Maybe it just me or you could go waste 300-400 bucks more on some bolt on CRAP that isn't realy what anybody wants. (kind-of?)
A 10 foot length of 2.25 is about 75 bucks and a 10 foot length of 2.50 is about 10 bucks more. |

$75 is amazingly cheap.....which is good but I'm a big fan of "you get what you pay for" any fancier options I should know/think about? So far you've won me over.
How much would a stainless steel muffler run me? I'm not looking for anything super loud, just a nice stock sound or slightly louder.
staying with the 2.25" piping.

I know Capilano Muffler and Brake (on 50th st) does some slick work.
I've seen some custom jobs done up in there (one particular bright green corrado had his cat removed and 3" pipe all the way along), and they do damn fine work, and it's always well-priced.
Like Midas Guy said, i don't think anyone around does true mandrel bends, so if you had your heart set on it, ummm..., just ask whoever does your pipes to tell you it's mandrel bent. :D
Wayne at Capilano Muffler is a good guy, he's a personal friend, and i'd recommend him. But, there's lots of good guys around, so whatever. Just giving you the head's up. |
