Honda_Civic_25
Hey guys I was wondering if there are anyway to protect a fiberglass bodykit from breaking so easily?

Soulfly
get a urathane kit.. :p

eather that.. or get that 3M shit put all over it.. that rock guard stuff...

it should protect it a little better.. But it will still crack...

yea I cant afford a urathane kit, too poor:mad: but I will try that get some of the rock gaurd stuff put on, see how that will help/

if you go fiberglass, your gonna be more poor than you already are because that shit is gonna break in no time. save your money and get urethane.

if the kit is painted and you put rock gaurd on it. the kit will look faded in no time or as soon as you put it on, and that will cause your paint to mis match. also good luck trying to find a detailer that will rock gaurd a entire body kit.

Fiberglass can be repaired, and reinforced. telling you to get i different kit does not help your corrent situation. what i have done in the past is after you get your first few cracks, and your have to do something about it. Take the bumper off, and reglass it, add a few more layers all in any place you belive might be subject to cracking. do keep in mind the mounting, and clearances around suports.

Fiberglass is not very hard to work with, smells like crap and is sticky and ichy. But if you dont want to buy a new kit you can fix yours meny times for far less money.
the last thing i could tell you is, i see you and a sending block hanging out lot's in the future if you decide to do your own work.
