I bought an '87 Toyota Camry a few weeks back for a winter vehicle and I'm having a bit of an issue with it right now.
The heater comes on no problem when you start the car, but after driving for about 20 minutes it starts to blow cold air. If you push on the control that slides back and forth between hot and cold it will blow warm again. Any ideas as to what's going on?:dunno: |

| Hmmm do u know if it is vacuum controled or not. If it is it might be a vacuum leak or maybe have something to do with the control valve or valves that allow the water to run thru the heater core. Some have a one way valve to hold vacuum pressure. |

| Haven't checked yet. And yeah, I can hear the valve closing and opening. Now it's just figuring out why it does it after the car has been running for 20 min. I'm going to pull out the dash controls and clean all of the contacts, that may have something to do with it.:dunno: |

| Well I pulled it out today and cleaned the control unit, but it's still acting up. I might take a run to PYP to see if I can find one to replace it. |
