Depends what part of the system isnt working. The most two common causes for a rear defrost not working are:
1) The switch itself(not limited to and including any fuses/relays)
2) The actual connection point on the rear windshield. Sometimes the solder gets broken if you wash your window too hard.
If the electrical components are still working, take it by Speedy Glass or any of those glass shops, they should be able to check out the connection point.
