| i have this 88 nissan pulsar that has a nice shell and engine, but the tranny has almost seen it's last day... it's automatic and it doesn't shift into third and have to play with the throttle for reverse to catch...is it worth gettin an overhauled tranny or jus to sell it or part it out...???i was quoted $900 for an over haul... |

| has bout 240000km...i think bout 500-700bucks... i kno all the owners who had this car(stayed in the family). |

| If the car is still really reliable other than the trans it might be worth it, or maybe try and pull one out of the junkyard to freshen up and rebuild. It's hard to find a reliable winter beater for that much money nowadays. |

| find a used tranny, they are cheap and easy to locate, i see lots at teh local wrecker |
