| jw, heard from sum guy that hes atkin out his subs cuz in winter they crack or can crack, which i thought was him bullshitting, but then again i dun no for sure, so wondering anyone here takin out their system for winter |

I don't take it out, but I turn down my amp(via remote bass knob) so that they're not -40 and I pound the shit outta them. I don't have a switch, but before when I did I used to turn off the amp til the car warmed up a bit in a hatch/truck/ or car with flip down seats.... not sure what I'll do this year... prolly just keep them turned down.
Last year the only prob I had was my amp and subs kept getting covered in frost and a good layer at that |

I took Mine out because they are like 3 weeks old.. and I'm not risking it..
But The Rubber surrounded subs should be fine (that's what mine are)
But the Foam ones.. I would definately Take those out.. Foam Is so much weaker...
and I'd take out the rubberized foam ones too..:thumbup: |

| Your friend is not bsing you. This can happen. Anyways as mentioned earlier if you intend to keep your system in during the winter then I advise you don't make them pound. |
