jw, heard from sum guy that hes atkin out his subs cuz in winter they crack or can crack, which i thought was him bullshitting, but then again i dun no for sure, so wondering anyone here takin out their system for winter

SilverNeonRacer
I don't take it out, but I turn down my amp(via remote bass knob) so that they're not -40 and I pound the shit outta them. I don't have a switch, but before when I did I used to turn off the amp til the car warmed up a bit in a hatch/truck/ or car with flip down seats.... not sure what I'll do this year... prolly just keep them turned down.

Last year the only prob I had was my amp and subs kept getting covered in frost and a good layer at that

I took Mine out because they are like 3 weeks old.. and I'm not risking it..

But The Rubber surrounded subs should be fine (that's what mine are)

But the Foam ones.. I would definately Take those out.. Foam Is so much weaker...

and I'd take out the rubberized foam ones too..

gab
i install a 12v heater in my sub box. cuz shits gotta be bumpin yo................

Your friend is not bsing you. This can happen. Anyways as mentioned earlier if you intend to keep your system in during the winter then I advise you don't make them pound.
