anyone see Jarhead?
I saw it last night...wasn't wat i was expecting..there was no action...at all...i can see lots of funny quotes coming out of this one though. But even though there wasn't much action, it still wasn't that bad. |

| From what I've heard it's not the war action film that most people go into it expecting. It's just showing how painfully boring it can be when marine snipers are sent into battle but aren't allowed to shoot anyone. |

I think the people who said it sucked, were expecting a typically action movie.
This is not an action movie at all - it's set in a war, but the movie centres around the characters and the lack of battles. |

very realistic movie. Lets you know what soldiers go through overseas. Not all operations are "shoot em up" scenario's.
Awsome realism of the masturbation explanation, and the whore g/f's. lol.
Seen similar g/f related situations over and over again at work.. lol. |

Supposedly it's incredibly accurate to what the gulf situation was like for those marines over there.
It portrays it as how it was, and doesn't glorify it. It's more of a politcal film than a war movie.
Therefore I liked it, since while watching it you actually had to think. |
