Graphics - Click HERE for Original Thread

brandon
Anyone here consider doing graphics? I noticed that their were some pretty cool cars at v8less with some graphics. Any good designs?

Swifty
Are you considdering vinyl sticker graphics?...or paint?

wong
Paint is really way to expensive and way too permanent IMO, but I guess it looks way better.

I know a guy here who may make custom badge overlays for cars. They relfect different colour when light hits it. Its kind of cool... i have them on my car.. black and reflect white. Just so ppl know its a grand prix at nigh and not a Grand am ;P. They are small and discreet and are overlays on the stock badges.
Currently he makes them for the GrandPrix's, but he said he may make others..

test
how do you wax your car with all the vinyl?

BlueTurboEGG
Technically, you aren't supposed to wax vinyl stickers.

test
Yeah but have you seen the designs? how can you avoid not waxing those decals.

BlueTurboEGG
I guess that's the price you pay for running a complete body vinyl kit...

I don't think waxing htem will do too much harm...

Nice stuff How does that stuff come off? Does it damage the paint?

ManHunter
I was thinking of having airbrushing done on my car. But it is sooooooo expensive. And it is very hard to find a good design. Something that doesn't look lame (or overdone, like flames).

Like Brandon is asking, anyone knows where I can find good designs as a starting point?

Silent Rage has some nice stuff...... you can always get ideas from them.

Removing Vinyl graphics is easy, but you need a solution to remove left over residue or you'll still have an outline of the graphic on your car.

Any more questions?

GirlRacerP1 - Thanks!!!

can someone erase the multiple posts? sorry...
