Engine bay color - Click HERE for Original Thread

So i'm taking the engine out of my car and am gonna paint the bay, there are a couple options to go with though. The cars gonna be white with a carbon fiber hood. So from experience I was just wondering who thinks what would look the best?

- The same color white (gonna get really dirty and notice alot)

- Black (always a safer choice)

- That greyish color that signal used on their 350z with the sr. It makes all the chrome look really nice (or maybe its just since its such a clean install) http://www.automotiveforums.com/jac...A1/IMGA0046.jpg

Anyways, just wodering what you guys think.

I like having the engine bay the same color..........

White should make the engine stick out pretty nicely.......

But are you really gonna let it get that dirty if you are putting that much work into it....... I think not.

Good call, and i really want it nice and clean, and by that i dont mean free of grease and oil. I cant stand when ppl swap engine and put so much work into them and there vacuum hoses everwhere and wires galore.

is it a show car or a road car?
if it's a show car might as well do the whole 9 yards and chrome it :P
but if it's a road car it's gonna get dirty no matter what you do, black is good for that
