Well I just saw the sneak preview of this movie and I have to say that it was the best movie I've seen in a long time.
For those who don't know it's a dark comedy/mystery starring Robert Downey Jr. and a gay Val Kilmer. The movie's writer/director spends a LOT of time cracking on Hollywood, almost a little too much time, but it makes for some fucking hilarious jokes. The relationship between Kilmer and Downey Jr. is one of the best on-screen duos in years.
Overall I would give this 4.5/5. Great characters, great dialogue. Very, VERY funny! Definitely go see it. I will probably pay to see it again as I'm sure there were jokes I missed when I was laughing my ass off.:thumbup: |

I'm sure Val can do a good job in a funny role. Who could forget "Ice Man, The Later Years" on SNL?

hahaha, yeah I saw that. Not exactly what his role was like in this, but funny nonetheless.
The funniest shit is all the little smartass comments between them. Plus the fact that he's a gay private detective or "dick" if you will. How can it not be funny?:dunno: :thumbup: |
