screw my rant, dont want a flame fest, its a nice car and for a little extra buck it can be faster but its not the end all be all.

| sweet, thats cool. but i read the article and at the end whoever had the quotes in the article said that an SRT-4 isn't a neon, which it is, and that a neon can't do 13 seconds down the track, in which case i do believe adam's car is pretty close, and there's a few natuarally aspirated neons that came out of apex that made that time with there eyes closed. BUT BY SAYING ALL OF THIS, I DO NOT MEAN TO START A HUGE FLAME FEST BETWEEN EVERYBODY, i only mean to say the neons don't get near as much reconition that they sometimes deserve. :thumbup: |

| there are more then 10 srt4's from edmonton that i personally know of that run mid to LOW 13's. if u came out to the trac this past summer you'd know what i'm talking about! if u dont beleive me pm me and i will arrange for u to meet these guys! |

Right now as far as I know I am the 2nd fastest 1st gen in Canada...the fastest is an all motor he does low 12's and is from Quebec...on nitrous he's in the 11's. AS far as SRT's the Apex car that i drove last year was the fastest @ 12.0 but I think there are some faster ones in Ontario now. The fastest allmotor 1st gen neon in Edmonton was also an Apex car that I drove...it was sohc with 11.5:1, cam, exhaust and it did 14.4. There have been no other N/A neons in town to beat that yet...I do know that Lee will beat that easily next year with his autox car.
That should clarify things for people. |

We are not talking about SRT-4s.. we are talking about Naturally aspirated neons. Thanks for coming out though. I am pretty sure we can all agree that SRT-4s can run a 13 without to much work. Personally I don't see that as anything special considering what they run stock. |

Too bad as usuall the writer screws up some simple info. Can't even get the stock hp and tq #'s for the SRT4 correct. And mentioning 780tuners instead of your site? lol |
