I need a video card!!! - Click HERE for Original Thread

Hey, I am looking for a decent video card for my Compaq 5008. I want to have tv out and to make games a little cooler. Anyone have one for sale or know where I can get one for cheap? How hard is it to install? Thanks.

200 bucks enough? or should I get a cheap one and more RAM?

I'm wanting to spend about $200 bucks but the main thing is I want to have TV out. I would be playing mostly racing games.

a radeon 9000 pro can be found for about 170, and they seem pretty decent, but ive never used one.

if you can cough up about 250 or so you can find gforce 4 ti4200s, which i think are much better cards than the radeon 9000.

Good Stuff. Any sweet racing games you would recommend? I think I'm buying Sound Blaster 5.1 as well. :)

motorcity online... 16 bucks a month to play is one of the only downsides, IMHO, but its a great game.

not sure how many people have looked into it, but you can drive anything from a 1100 horsepower 32 coupe to the newly released 96 toyota supra :D
very large emphasis on muscle cars, but a fast car is a fast car is a fast car.

That game isn't going to be up for much longer as the maker has stopped supporting it.

I have a Radeon 7000 64meg with tv output for sale; $50

Radeon 7000 specs
