K, my drivers side power window is all messed up, when i make is go down it is really slow or normal but it shutters(moves side to side, shakin like a mofo) and then finally hits the bottom. When i push the button for it to go up it usually goes half way and stops and i'll have to pull up on the window and press the button all at the same time. Wtf is wrong? The guy at Phat performance said i probably need a new regulator? Anyone have any idea whats wrong and does anyone have a new or used part to fix this?

| B) hey chad I have a few power window sets here to part out but i will have to check the pricing to see what there worth. btw the red rx7 from calgary is (i think) Darryl evens and that car has a 350 chev with about 350/400 hp but even with all that power his lap times are about 6-8 seconds per lap slower than my turbo. hmmmm more power yet slower, hmmmmm how could that be?????? any way call me for the window parts if you need. thanks Conroy. |

THe thing is, i dont know what needs to be fixed on my power window. do you hvae any clue what needs to be replaced?
yeah, sure the guy has a v8 but First: car weighs more so it wont be as good in the twisties. Second: the v8 will most likely beat you in a straight line. Third: driver skills and capabilities differ.
So can you have any clue on what needs to be replaced? My window got stuck down once and i had to take off the door panel and damn man! how the hell am i suppose to do anything in there! So tight and there's metal covering everthing so you can't use any tools, or does all that metal come off? haha :wacko: :o |

Hey Conroy, Make sure you charge Chad Von ILoveV8s accordingly! A power window switch sounds like $2500 piece to me..... $5000 for one that works!!! :bigthumbup:

Hey Kruzen guy....I think you know as well as I there are two big differences in your lap times
1. Willingness to place the car at the limit (or dam close)
2. Driver skill at the limit,
Even my lowly GSL-SE is turning 1 sec. better lap times than the V8RX7, and I know both the V8 RX7 and your Turbo make my car look like a big black slug on the straights.

| ;) hey mr. al36rx7 guy dont tell him that were trying to convince him to stick with a rotory... besides i think hes on to me. oh ya some one at the shop was talking about motors and said something about a cam shaft? what the hell is a camshaft, and why would you want one that can lift higher??????
