WTB: amp(s) 4 channel & mono block - Click HERE for Original Thread

I am pretty sure that I fried my amp yesterday. It's an older Kenwood 4 ch, i was using it to power a 10" sub and 2 4" speakers. Got REALLY hot, then shut down. No fuse blown, and won't work after cool down.

So I'm in the market for a new amp(s). Current set up is:

Pioneer H/U with single RCA output.
1 set of jbl 3 way 6x9's
1 set of sony xplod 3-1/2
1 set of alpine type s 4"s
1 10" sony xplod sub (700W max)
1 4 ch amp (kenwood - fried methinks).

Currently the 3-1/2's and 6x9's run off the deck, the sub and 4's off of the amp. RCA signal is split at amp to get both channels. 4 AWG to amp (ground and batt), 14 AWG from deck to amp power turn on.

Ideally I'd like to buy a 4 channel amp again right now, so that I can continue with the same set up. Then buy a mono block later to run the sub, and use the free'ed up set on the 4 ch to run the 6x9's.

Let me know what you got for 4 ch, and mono block amps. I'm not looking for a competition sound system, $$ is a factor. Also, if you have some idea why my amp fried, let me know your theories. I know it's bad, but I have the amp mounted to the box right now (lack of space to put it anwhere else at current time, I will be moving it in the spring, if not sooner). It may be that it's an old amp, but the fuse should have still saved it methinks.
