| ya airsoft guns are sweet, but paintball is better not only because of range, but correct me if i am wrong there is next to nowhere to play around the city. l will say tho that i would love it if the huge hopper wasn't needed. |

I like paintball because it's more mainstream and you can get sponsored. Airsoft still is not socially acceptable just yet by the general populace compared to paintball.
Probably because paintball has made the move away from military thrillseekers to the public eye and is a sport that can be competed on a national stage. |

300-600 fps!
That's way too close to real gun velocities. It took paintball 10 years of CONCENTRATED effort to move away from 'milspec' (even so far as getting rid of red dye paintballs).
There's a reason why Paintball is booming. Airsoft is much cheaper to play, but it's too focused on 'realism' (whatever that means). |

My -16 shoots at 410 fps... my Glock 19 at 355 with Propane in it... They hurt. :D
