Pretty funny tho

Well what the hell did he want to do? Shoot kids for throwing rocks??? I'd be pissed too, but come on you don't shoot guns at rock weilding kids.

S2000_rider
I was hoping this thread wouldn't get any replies because of it's ignorance. Anyhow, like spec2003 said, what did you honestly inspect? There is a very good chance that those children have had at rleast one elative or friend killed by this American occupation. What do you honestly inspect them to do, throw out the red carpet like they INITIALLY did when the Americans came in at first? Of course not...they are without electricity, water, er 8000 Iraqi's are being held without charge that we know of, and most importantly...SECURITY.

It's sad enough that ORDERS had to actually be issued NOT to shoot at children throwing rocks?!?!??!?! Is that an order that has to even be conveyed? You can tell the soldiers were just ITCHING to shoot the kids...just listen to the attitude of the soldiers and how upset he was with the orders. Then he teases one of the kids by taunting him with food and the other soldier looses himself laughing like a hyena.

Change the situation is all I'm saying. You were an Iraqi kid without food, water and electricity and you've had at least one family relative or friend killed because of foriegn country that has occupied your country and commited numerous autrocities and scandals against your family and friends? Not sure about you, but I'd sure as hell throw a few rocks if i was a kid in that situation...wouldn't you?

Talontsi96
Well said. If anything this video prooves how these americans felt about the Iraqi's. If they could (be allowed by orders) they would shoot these kids for throwing rocks....UNBELIEVABLE? (Maybe not!)

v8killah
im sure they were just being sarcastic about shooting them.

i would ran a few over myself ahahha jk.

Tech2
These kids just aren't under control like they were several years ago under a different authority. They didn't throw rocks at iraqi soldiers back then because the iraqi security forces were loved, not like the americans.

Of course shooting children is not cool, but then if you threw rocks at the EDPD I'm sure they'd do something about it. These soldiers or contractors can't do shit.

Charles_00civic
k. If i were the american army I'd send a trailerless big rig through. All it would do is drift side to side spewing gravel at the littel shits. While they're stumbling around blindly cause of the gravel wounds, the rest of the trucks come through. haha they should honk their horns and swerve at em. Little fucks. :blue:

Charles_00civic
PAINTBALL GUNS! AIRSOFT IS LEGAL IN THOSE COUNTRIES. A few good welts.

bluSRT
Or get a truck with a water cannon, and blow the little shits into the ditch.

You're right about that. If it bleeds, it leads.

You won't see many stories about development or infrastucture (if it's being built, not blown up) in the NY times or on CNN, not to mention the Guardian or AFP.

when i was a kid back in europe, we hated the un, and we would fill their jeeps or cars wit like sand and rocks and shit, and later ask them for candy lol, otherwise i say go through that again just give the kids sum guns:lol:

I may have to rethink my position on immigration...

Tech2
Dude, why'd you hate the UN?

Shows how bright these people are. Huge trucks and tanks, and their throwing rocks. Reminds me of a story I heard. A few US soldiers were on foot when they were confronted with a tank full of arabs. They had weapons but obviously the tank would go unharmed. They decided they would run out shooting in the air and yelling at the top of their lungs. The arabs jumped out of the tank and ran.

The Americans, Abu Mohammed said, are "strong in their technology, but I've never seen cowards like them."

I've heard stories like that one too. And then there are the guys that go down with thier boots on, 3 rounds in them, guns blazing OK corral style too.

ignorance? Ill chime in here, in Afghanistan kids were used by the Talaban, alqiada (sp?) and other ngo groups aginstance isaf forces, be it flying kits to signal when a convoy left the camp or giving us grnades with no pins in them, just the spoons, i cant say what our rules of engaugment were but if our life was in danger we could use deadly force, who is to say that one of thoes rocks was not a granade? You have no idea what ignorance is tell you have seen what hapends in thoes countries then come back to canada, kids are used as tools. its not the western world, everyone is a thret.

Tech2
Yeah, but it's only a warcrime if the US does it. :dunno:

It's only a warcrime if you forget to redefine the terms of what a warcrime is.

Ahhh, very good point. Can we redefine crimes against humanity to include fart cans? :dunno:

Few things bud...In the video, the soldiers stated it was a regular thing for kids to throw rocks at that particular part of the road...NOT gernades, NOT rpgs, NOT ied's...just kids throwing rocks. Was there life CLEARLY in danger? NO! I'm sure if they did throw a gernade or HAD thrown gernades in the past, the orders would be different. The dumb ass soldiers are clearly itching to shoot these kids who have experienced god knows what at the hands of this occupation. And bud, I have been to the middle-east, I have been to parts of South Asia where my relatives live where I couldn't sleep without hearing the sounds of bullets. Kids riding on motorocyles with blocks on there feet because they couldn't reach the pedals with a an AK strapped around their backs. So yeah, I've seen the other side. That has absolutely nothing to do with this thread.

To break down the video in it's most simplistic form is this.
A couple of dumb ass soldiers who were just dying to shoot a couple of kids that were throwing rocks at their windows. The children throwing rocks as stated by the soldiers was a reoccuring event and not once did he mention otherwise. Considering what these kids have experienced, I'd be inclined to do the exact same thing in their situation.

That may well be so, but it's just as much speculation to think these kids have a good reason to throw rocks as it is to think the soldiers/contractors didn't have a good reason to be pissed off.
