| Ok, so i have never gotten a photo radar ticket before and not sure about this. How long does it take for the ticket to arrive at your house? How much do they cost usually? I think i was doing around 10-15km/h over the speed limit. |

| Photo radar is set at 15 km/h over, so you were at least doing that. If you were going 15 over it's $89, 20 over is $124....no demerits. Takes a couple weeks to get to you (provided the address on your licence is actually where you live). |

| it is set at 15.. you can try it for yourself. i got a ticket from photo going 15 over it was 89 bucks and thats the lowest amount a speeding ticket can be set at.. |

i know someone that got a ticket for going 1km/hr over
when they were really going like 180 in a 110,
but the cop was having a really good day and said he would reduce it for 1km/hr over for $50 and just to pay it |

I know because I have friends who are cops. While it is possible to get a ticket for any amount over, EPS policy is they don't ticket for anything less than 10 km/h over (unless you run into one who wants to cut you a break like in shawley's story...sweet deal). Photo radar is set for 15 km/h over...not sure why it's different... just to give us more of a chance I guess. :dunno: |

I've gotten atleast 7 photo radar tickets (ironically all in my old slow dodge aries) but I have never gotten one for going 64 in a 50.. its usually 65 in a 50, or 75 in 60 (15 over).
So in my experience its generally set at 15 over. It taken a week or two to get in the mail for me. |

i got lots of photo radar tickets with my slower cars, but haven't got one with either of the turbo cars i've owned. don't know why.. anyone else like this too? |

Not sure if this changed recently but got a photo radar ticket doing 62 in a 50 zone |
