| i hope that their are some anime collectors on this forum that might be able to help me out. im looking for some new anime series/movies to watch. genres that i prefer include street racing, drifting, action, sci fi, flying. the series that i already have are: initial d, eX-drivers, cowboy bebop, rurouni kenshin, trigun, read or die, ghost in the shell,yukikaze. any series that are recommended within these parameters will be taken into consideration, thanks! |

Any of these are pretty decent.
Black Cat, Bleach, Blood+, Elfen Lied, Evangelion, Excel Saga, FLCL, Full Metal Alchemist, Initial D, Jigoku Shoujo, Karin, Mai Otome, Naruto, Shakugan No Shana, Shuffle, Suzuka, Tsukuyomi Moon Phase, Yakitate Japan.
There was one called Starship Operators that I thought was pretty interesting.
Sci-fi there is your usual Gundam Wing, Gundam Seed, Gundam Seed Destiny, Macross (Robotech), Marcross 7, Armitage 1, 2, 3, Bubblegum Crisis 2040...im sure there are more, but its a good start.

The almighty Bleach is currently the best Anime. When the fansubs hit torrent, there are usually 18000 seeders and 30000 leechers. It's become more popular than Naruto!
For older stuff, Cowboy Bebop is fantastic. I think that is my all time favorite.
Scrapped Princess is pretty cool. The storyline has a Final Fantasy feel to it. |

Slam Dunk is classic, Peace Maker is okay.
I'm really enjoyg Akira Kurosawa's Samurai 7 anime remake, Samurai Champloo(kinda funky...) and also X.

| cool! thanks guys! ive heard of some of these, but havent watched them, i will defienetly take them into consideration. by "new" anime i meant anime different from what i have, kinda getting old of some of the anime that i have. |

Watch slam dunk, the first 10 episodes the main char will annoy you, then after that you get used to him and its GREAT.
Naruto is good if you havent seen it, currently its in shitty filler episodes.
One piece, watch that and love it, it has pirates and is awsome.
Bleach is good, the only new anime i watch currently.
Peace maker kogame whatever it was is shit, dont waste your time on that worthless peice of crap. friggen 20 episodes before it becomes remotely interesting and then it ends at episode 24 or 26.
20 episodes of pure boren shit is not worth the 4 good episodes.
Ninja scroll is lame, dont know why so many people acctualy like it, no doubt because the first time they saw it they were 14 year old boys who were seeing boobies and pointless gore for the first time.
Most anime thats new now in days is boren, just watch bleach, one peice and slam dunk if you can find it. |
